Bishop Wordsworth’s School utilizes GL Assessment tests as part of the entry process for Year 7. To maintain fairness, scores are age-standardized, eliminating any advantage based on a student's age.


The Bishop’s 11 Plus exam comprises two papers that assess the following subject areas:


1. Verbal Skills, encompassing English and Verbal Reasoning tests.

2. Mathematics and Non-Verbal Reasoning, which includes Spatial Reasoning.


Each paper is structured with timed sections, and students are tasked with recording their answers on a separate answer sheet.
