Burnham Grammar School (BGS) is a coeducational grammar school for pupils aged 11 to 18 in Burnham, Buckinghamshire. Established in 1960, the school achieved academy status in 2011 and is recognised as a Specialist Science College.
BGS implements a house system divided into four houses, each carrying the name of a prominent historical figure. Burnham Grammar School adheres to the national curriculum and prioritises preparing pupils for their chosen career paths by providing them with a strong foundation of knowledge in key subjects such as maths, literature, sciences, arts, and languages. Moreover, pupils are encouraged to participate in a wide range of extracurricular activities after school or during lunch breaks. Some of the most popular clubs include rugby, netball, musical choirs, Italian language, drama, etc.

2. Test - 2 (Non-Verbal Reasoning, Spatial Reasoning & Mathematics)
GL Assessment is the designated exam board for the 11+ Test in Buckinghamshire, specifically for the Buckinghamshire Secondary Transfer Test. This comprehensive test comprises two papers designed to assess the following:
1. Comprehension, technical English, and Verbal Reasoning
2. Non-Verbal Reasoning, Spatial Reasoning, and Mathematics
Each of the test papers has a duration of approximately 45 minutes, and all questions are presented in a multiple-choice format. The 11+ Secondary Transfer Test is weighted as follows:
- Verbal Ability – 50%
- Non-Verbal Ability – 25%
- Numerical Ability – 25%
During the test, students provide their answers on a separate answer sheet, where each correct response earns one raw age-standardized mark.
To prepare for the Secondary Transfer Test, students are offered the opportunity to take a Practice Test. The primary purpose of the Practice Test is to simulate the testing environment, allowing students to become familiar with the format of the 11+ STT and helping them gain valuable experience under exam conditions.
