Chatham & Clarendon Grammar School

Chatham & Clarendon Grammar School

Chatham & Clarendon Grammar School, situated in the charming town of Ramsgate, Kent, was established in 2011 through the merger of two local schools: Chatham House Grammar School for boys and Clarendon House Grammar School for girls, both with roots dating back to 1797.

Preserving the legacy of its predecessors, Chatham and Clarendon seamlessly combines a traditional setting with a contemporary teaching approach. The school emphasizes the significance of a robust foundation on the journey to success, offering a curriculum that not only imparts classical book knowledge in core subjects but also fosters ambition, creativity, and inspiration for a comprehensive learning experience.

Comprehensive pastoral care is a cornerstone, contributing to a positive learning environment and underscoring the quality of education provided. The school prioritizes the non-academic development of its students, evident in the diverse range of activities available, spanning debating, DofE, Rock Choir, chess, Gender Equality Club, and CCF.
