Founded in 1918, Oakwood Park Grammar School (OPGS) is a boys’ grammar based in the Kent town of Maidstone. It has a co-educational sixth form. In 2003, the school became a mathematics and computing specialist college before gaining academy status in May 2011.
The curriculum provides a diverse array of challenging subjects, encouraging students to explore their complete potential. The school's emphasis extends beyond academic excellence, placing equal importance on pushing intellectual boundaries and fostering personal resilience.

Oakwood Park Grammar School employs the Kent 11 Plus exam structure, encompassing assessments in Reasoning, English, and Maths.
This test is utilized to evaluate the suitability of prospective students for admission to the school and is adopted by the majority, though not all, of the 35 wholly selective and 4 partially selective grammar schools in the region.
The exam format is as follows:
Section 1: A one-hour examination gauging students' reasoning abilities. Comprising shorter segments, the test assesses Verbal Reasoning, Spatial Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning.
Section 2: A one-hour examination evaluating proficiency in English and Maths.
Section 3: A 40-minute writing task, including 10 minutes of preparation time. Although the writing task is not scored for the 11 Plus exam, it may serve as supporting evidence in borderline cases.

Parents who have registered will receive their Kent Test results via email after 4 pm, providing a breakdown of their child's scores. Additionally, results will be accessible online from 5 pm, allowing parents to log in and review the outcomes.
