Gloucestershire follows GL Assessment with Paper 1 and Paper 2.
Paper 1: Verbal Skills (Including Comprehension, Vocabulary and Verbal Reasoning)
Paper 2: Mathematics and Non-Verbal Skills
The upcoming Gloucestershire 11+ Exam is set to adopt a fully multiple-choice format, comprising two distinct papers:
Paper 1: Verbal Skills
This section will evaluate Comprehension, Vocabulary, and Verbal Reasoning. The overall duration of the paper is 60 minutes, with 45 minutes designated for actual testing. Timed sub-sections will be included, each commencing with instructions, samples, and practice questions.
Paper 2: Mathematical & Non-Verbal Skills
This paper will gauge proficiency in Mathematics and Non-Verbal Reasoning, encompassing Spatial Reasoning. Similar to Paper 1, the total duration is 60 minutes, with 45 minutes allocated for the testing phase. The paper will be divided into timed sub-sections, each prefaced by instructions, samples, and practice questions.
