The 11 Plus Exam format for South Wilts Grammar School is designed by GL Assessment. The structure of the exam is outlined as follows:
Paper 1: A 50-minute Mathematics paper with all questions in multiple-choice format.
Paper 2: A 45-minute English paper with all questions in multiple-choice format.
Paper 3: A 50-minute Verbal Reasoning paper with all questions in multiple-choice format.

The eleven plus test for South Wilts Grammar School for Girls comprises three papers:
