St. Olave's conducts its 11 Plus testing through a two-stage process:
Stage 1
To gain admission, boys must take St. Olave's Selective Eligibility Test (SET), a multiple-choice examination covering English comprehension, mathematics, as well as Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning questions.
If your child is successful, they will receive an invitation to participate in Stage 2.
Students who successfully navigate the SET will receive an invitation to undertake the school's second-stage assessments in both English and mathematics.

Stage 1 requires a standardised score of 210 marks unless this is not sufficient to meet the school’s published admission number (PAN) of 168.
