The Crypt School

The Crypt School

Dating back to 1539, The Crypt School, situated in Gloucester, boasts a rich history and was originally founded to provide exemplary grammar education for both boys and girls. This commitment to educational excellence has endured over the centuries.

In 2011, the school transitioned to academy status, and by 2018, it had become fully co-educational while maintaining its esteemed reputation as one of the country's premier institutions.

Notably, the school has consistently delivered outstanding results in examinations, contributing to its well-established reputation for excellence. This commitment to quality has been officially recognized by Ofsted, which awarded the school an "Outstanding" rating in its recent inspection.

With over 1000 students distributed among five distinguished houses—Brown, Henley, Moore, Raikes, and Whitefield—The Crypt School remains a beacon of academic distinction.

Why Progress Academy for
The Crypt School
Great institution for 11+ coaching:

My son, Akhil had his 11+ coaching in Progress Academy and cleared all the four tests (Kent, Bexley, CSSE and Redbridge) that he attended. The dedication and individual care provided by Progress Academy to each student is the key reason for this achievement.

We are fortunate to find this training centre at the right time. - Satheesh Kumar
