Lincolnshire 11+ Exam consists of two papers comprising of Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning and Spatial Reasoning.

The Lincolnshire 11+ Exam, developed by GL Assessment, assesses Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, and Spatial Reasoning through a multiple-choice format.


This examination comprises two papers:

  • The initial paper focuses on Verbal Reasoning, lasting for 50 minutes and featuring 80 questions. Various question types are presented in concise sections.

  • The second paper is administered a week later, encompassing Non-Verbal Reasoning and Spatial Reasoning. This paper comprises five sections, each lasting 7 minutes and containing 14 questions. The first three sections address Non-Verbal Reasoning, while the last two sections pertain to Spatial Reasoning.
