The 11+ Exam for The Tiffin Girls’ School is conducted in two stages:
Stage One involves English and Maths assessments, including some multiple-choice questions. The style of the test incorporates elements from both the GL and CEM formats, along with unique components specific to Tiffin. Following Stage One, a selected number of students will be invited to participate in the Stage Two test.
Stage Two comprises English and Maths tests set by the school. Previous Stage Two tests have featured comprehension, a writing task, and standard format maths questions.
Scores from both Stage One and Stage Two contribute to determining a Combined Mark, with 60% based on English and 40% on Maths. The English mark is solely derived from the Stage Two test, while the Maths mark considers results from both Stage Two and Stage One, with a ratio of 3:1.
