Make the most of your child’s Bank Holiday!  This course delivered across four, genre-focussed sessions over the May 26th Bank Holiday.  Your child will: 
Dive into Diverse Texts: Tackle fiction narratives, non-fiction articles, poetry and transactional writing.
Hone Every Skill: From skimming & scanning to extract-and-return, inference, “why?” questions and paraphrasing in their own words.
Deploy Proven Strategies: Master active reading techniques, annotation shortcuts and time-management tips under timed conditions.
Engage in Purposeful Practice: Work through real-exam style passages, guided drills and peer-review exercises - each built around the session’s featured text type.
Targeted Feedback: Personalized guidance during every session and bespoke follow-up exercises to close learning gaps.

Friday, 23rd May 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM:  Narrative Texts  Batch 2; 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM
Saturday, 24th May 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM: Descriptive & Setting Texts Batch 2; 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM
Sunday, 25th May 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM: Persuasive & Transactional Texts Batch 2; 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM
Monday, 26th May 9:00 AM - 11:00 PM Poetry & Mixed Practice Batch 2: 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Thursday, 29th May 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM English Comprehension - Final Test

By the end of the Bank Holiday, your child will have sharpened their toolkit of comprehension tactics with hands-on experience of working through varying text types.
