Results are the outcome of hard work, dedication, and perseverance.
Celebrate your efforts, learn from your experiences, and keep striving for excellence.

Your child has worked hard to prepare for the 11+ exam in 2025 – now it's time to await the results! Knowing when results will be released – and what they mean – will help you prepare for the secondary school application deadline on 31st October 2025.
When are 11 Plus results released?
Most grammar schools and consortia publish results between late September and late October 2025. How you’ll receive them varies by school:
Email or online portal – most schools send through emails.
Letter by post – usually first-class, arriving the same day or next.
Note: Results indicate whether your child has reached the qualifying standard – this does not guarantee a place, as oversubscription rules (catchment, siblings, ranking) still apply.

What happens after results
Complete the Common Application Form (CAF) – deadline 31st October 2025.
National Offer Day – school place allocations will be released on Monday, 2nd March 2026.
Appeals – if you don’t get your preferred school, you can appeal through your local authority. Always accept the offered place while appealing.
Final Thoughts
Results day is a milestone – but it’s just one step in the admissions process.
A qualifying score makes your child eligible, but places depend on admissions rules.
Be strategic when completing the CAF – always list your preferred schools, but include realistic backups.
Remember: there are many excellent non-selective schools if a grammar school place isn’t secured.
Stay positive, and use the results as a guide to make the best decision for your child’s future.
